Origin of Music Cast!
Music Cast was born in late 2019 as a simple YouTube channel dedicated to uploading tracks and compilations of EDM from unknown and emerging artists. Our goal was to showcase these wonderful songs over and over again. Everything changed when the founder of the channel, Mr DEAO, inspired by the productions of these artists, decided to produce his own song titled "Success," a title that symbolized his belief that this word represented the future of all his projects.
Now, Mr DEAO had finished producing his first song; it was completely ready. However, he didn't know what steps to take next, so he began researching how the music industry and related technology worked. In this research, Mr DEAO discovered music distributors that help artists get their songs onto platforms with global audiences. Motivated by this discovery, he decided to distribute "Success" on June 26, 2020. The song was well-received on streaming platforms, which raised his expectations and led him to reflect on how he could help other artists reach new goals in their musical careers.
Despite his achievement, he realized there were many complexities in the path of a beginner artist, and that many quality songs barely achieved a few plays after being distributed. This led him to the idea of creating a music distributor focused on EDM, whose main goal would be song distribution and connecting artists with effective promotion platforms. The proposal was simple: register, create an account, upload EDM songs, promote them strategically in the easiest way, monitor performance through statistics, and receive up to 95% of royalties from one place.
Thus, Music Cast transformed into a digital distributor that not only facilitates music distribution but also objectively offers promotional tools to boost artists' careers and prevent songs from being distributed only to be forgotten. Since late 2020, we have been consistently working towards this mission. In 2023, we decided to seriously commit to helping artists monetize their music careers, starting with a team of five and formalizing the company as "DEAO LLC" Today, we continue to innovate and seek better opportunities and services for our clients.
